We offer free admission for school visits on Wednesdays (pre-booking is required). Groups of up to 30 including teachers and assistants can be accommodated.

Guided tour

A guided tour of up to 2 hours can be provided as part of your visit, this can be tailored to different age groups and worksheets are available below.

Packed lunches

You are welcome to bring your own food, but please arrange this beforehand so that we can accommodate you. Refreshments may be purchased from the Tea Room.

Risk assessment

If you have to complete a risk assessment for your group or class in line with your organisation's policy please note that the Museum cannot do the risk assessment for you. You are strongly advised to make a preliminary visit to the Museum to conduct your own risk assessment. It will also assist your planning of the learning experiences our collections and conducted tour can provide.
